Marcela Fluchaire is a professor of French, Spanish, and Comparative Culture with over 30 years of teaching experience. Certified by the International House World Organization in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, she has helped students across Europe, the U.S., Canada, and Mexico achieve fluency and cultural understanding through personalized, one-on-one learning.

Marcela Fluchaire
Biography
Marcela Fluchaire is a Spanish professor, former Languages Department head, and academic coordinator with more than 30 years of experience across preschool, secondary, university, and executive education.Throughout her career, Marcela has taught Spanish, French, English, Latin American literature, Hispanic culture, comparative culture, and Latin American history. Her leadership experience includes organizing faculty professional development, supporting teachers through collaborative lesson planning and classroom observations, coordinating school operations, assessing student progress, and communicating with students, families, faculty, and administrators.Through Lango Learning, Marcela currently provides personalized online courses in Spanish, French, and Latin American history to students in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Europe. Her lessons combine grammar, conversation, pronunciation, listening comprehension, culture, and history, with instruction adapted to each learner’s proficiency level and professional or personal goals.Marcela holds a bachelor’s degree in History from IEU University and completed technical studies in English, French, and Italian at Universidad Motolinía del Pedregal. Her professional preparation includes the DIEELE International Certification as a Spanish Teacher through International House, along with specialized training in teaching competencies, cooperative learning, French didactics, and management skills.Based in Dallas, Texas, Marcela welcomes opportunities to contribute her experience to schools, educational organizations, and learning communities across the United States.Outside the classroom, Marcela enjoys cooking, traveling, discovering new cultures, and spending meaningful time with her granddaughter, Emma, and her sons in Dallas and Wisconsin.
